This course is an in-depth exploration of the basic techniques and development processes for all types of photography: black-and-white, color, and digital. The inclusion of hands-on projects allows students to develop the technical and expressive skills they need to produce quality pictures. This course does NOT include using a darkroom or working with chemicals. Minimum Camera Requirements: 35 mm manual SLR (Single Lens Reflex) and/or Digital camera with a minimum 3.2 megapixels and the ability to adjust exposures and shoot in various modes.COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS: FLASH plug-in, and if using a digital camera, students will need access to basic photo editing software that can output digital images in black and white mode and resize images.
